XFP optical transceiver reads the firmware
The hardware device in this demonstration is 10G-XFP-SR
All XFP packaged fiber modules can be used for reference
After the software opens, log in.
Perform the following steps:
1) Select XFP Tab
2) Page size, set to :8(This value is usually 8, but there are exceptions that vary depending on the IC. If reading fails, consult the module vendor)
3) Set the IIC read rate to :1(This value is filled in according to the usage, the smaller the value, the faster the larger the slower, we have tried to fill in 0)
4) Select the firmware address section that you want to read(XFP can usually be selected all, unless there is no DDM fiber module)
Note: To save the firmware locally, you must check "Tab1"
5) If multiple optical fiber modules are read, select "Auto". Then click on "Read".
6) If the read was successful, the "log" field will display "Read success"(If the read fails, watch another video)
7) If "Local Save" is checked, the firmware will be saved to the specified location, see the "Description.txt" file in the software root directory for the location
8) The read firmware content is displayed in the HEX control(Or view it with another third professional HEX editor)
